Rules

eBody Store, Group, and Discord Rules


1.   Refunds can only be given for duplicate purchases delivered to the same avatar.  eBody vendors automatically refund duplicate purchases and issue a redelivery.  Check your local chat.


2.   Asking for lindens or gifts on eBody land, or in group chat, or in discord is prohibited.


3.  Promoting your business or brand is not allowed on eBody land, or in group chat, or in discord, EXCEPT in in world group notices (rules in group description) or discord shopping channels.  


4.  Recommending/promoting competing products is not allowed on eBody land, or in group chat, or in discord.


5.  Don't block eBody Team or eBody Staff members.


6.  No criticizing any stores, brands, or products in discord or groups.  Please use that brand's groups, discord, CSRs or other avenues for customer service.


7.  eBody is a community, and we welcome discussion that helps foster that community. However, please keep in mind that in-world groups are primarily help groups, and that technical support and body assistance is the priority.

When CSRs are assisting customers, please keep general chat to a minimum. If off-topic conversation becomes very active, CSRs may guide the discussion back to eBody-related topics to ensure help requests are easy to see and respond to.

Avoid polarizing topics such as politics or religion. If a conversation becomes a debate, CSRs will ask participants to continue it in DMs.  


8.  Swearing, name calling, or abuse of staff or other customers is not permitted.  Please keep personal conflicts out of group chat.


9.  Follow any directions given, in group or discord, by eBody chat moderators/CSRs and Managers.


10.  Combat huds such as progeny are not allowed on eBody land.  Please remove before you shop.


11.  Questions to staff should be in English.   A group member can ask in chat (or a chat mod can ask for them) if a speaker of their language is willing to DM and help but getting an answer will depend who is paying attention and if they are willing and able to help.


12.  Hacked accounts will be banned and can rejoin if the account is recovered.


13.  We can only help with eBody products.  For 3rd party addons and other products made for eBody but not by eBody, you must use their brand's groups, discord, CSRs or other avenues for customer service.


14.  eBody team or chat mods may eject or ban members using their own judgement.  If you are banned and would like to appeal the decision in world, send an explanation via notecard to Bethanyjanet Resident.  On discord, contact Bethanyjanet or Mika Takeda.  The ban might be lifted depending on the circumstances.
